I'm an avid outdoorsman who enjoys living in the Adirondack Mountain region of Upstate, New York. I own and operate the WoW Network of website directories, hosting services and mail services. I spend a lot of time on my computer but when time allows I shed my mild mannered Permobil wheelchair and hop into my off road power wheelchair. I just love to head for the mountain trails and tear up some dirt on some of the nastiest trails imaginable. I'm able to achieve this with an OmegaTrac wheelchair customized for my needs. It features large front tires, beefed up suspension in the front and rear and a winch for that rare occasion when I get buried in a mud hole. I have also replaced the belt drive with chains and lowered the gear ratio to give me the ability to pull 900 pounds.

 
Most ATV riders who see a wheelchair miles in the woods give you either a strange look or a thumbs up. Trails that were the ATV's domain for many years are now the wheelchair off road rider's domain. I've been doing this since 1999, something rather unheard of at that time. It's a great feeling to take the challenges that Mother Nature throws at you and achieve your best. I've been in more then a few situations where as a last resort a 911 call was the only way out of the situation. The most humorous one being stuck in the middle of the Hudson River with a broken chair.
